ABOUT ME
Greetings friends, welcome to my site
I am Jessi, a Colorado based mixed-media artist and illustrator. Since childhood, I've had a strong passion for creating art. My art is detailed with intricate pen & ink work of stippling and hatching, and my digital art uses similar techniques. I like to add pops of color to my work occasionally by adding watercolor, acrylic paint, or collaging elements into my illustrations. I am always looking to challenge myself with new mediums so I welcome any ideas that come my way.
My art style has been heavily influenced by the diverse worlds of animation, comics, video games, and with an ever so light touch of Art Deco. My creativity stems from my love for botanicals, animals, mythology/folklore, and the anomalies that life presents to us. In my art, you will often find beautiful imagery and pop-surrealistic characters with dark undertones.
